| Several days ago he had surgery for
a heart valve problem but things went poorly. A piece of medical equipment failed and
exploded during the procedure contaminating the whole of his open chest with debris.
The procedure was terminated and anti-infection steps were taken.

| Praise Report: Jerry S.
You will want to read this
"Praise
Report" Chad Bogard, of
Kingsport Alpha House, told me regarding Jerry S. who had a major equipment failure during
heart valve replacement surgery!
Jerry S. went back into surgery
two weeks later with Doctors saying he had a very slim chance of living (less than 20%).
Due to the weakness of his
deteriorated valve it was necessary to do the surgery as the results of not doing it were
a 100% non survival rating!
The expectation was that when the
second procedure was started the surgery team would find major infection from the
contamination caused by the first surgery.
We prayed in the mighty name of
Jesus that he would experience no complications from the past procedure and would recover
in a manner giving glory to God.
Doctors shocked...no
infection...NONE! They expected him to spend a month in the hospital...four days in
intensive care and Jerry is home and expected to be walking two miles within the month.

I just wanted to let you know that I appreciate
your prayers concerning the polyp that was found last week. I had called Rita and
requested prayer Saturday, please let them know (because I don't have their email address)
that the polyp was benign. When I received the call from the Doctor and ended our
phone call, I just sat down and cried for about 15 min. I had been praying that
God's will be done in this situation and this is hard to do some-times because you want
your will to be done. I'm learning to pray in God's will and every-thing that I have
prayed about in the last 3 months has been answered.
I believe that the reason I was so emotional is I
know that I don't deserve such Grace and God is so good to me, even when I miss the mark
so many times in my life.
Again Thank-you for the Prayers! God is so
good to me and I want every-one to know.
I would like for you to continue to pray for me,

the first signs of rejection of the kidney and is back in hospital. Hopefully it is not
serious and the hospital think that they have caught it early enough to be able to reverse

Friday Nov. 14 while shopping. His condition improved until late Thanksgiving

please pray for that my mother was cheated by Mr. Kwong, Mr Ho, Hin Chai and Anna last
year, she went to a company and worked as an Office assistant, but they
cheated my mother, and compelled my mother to give her money out to them(they cheated my
mother that the money was used for investment, and the investment was failured), and went
away, thank God for that the policemen arrested Mr. Kwong now, but the Mr. Ho , Hin Chai
and Anna were still not arrested, please pray for that God can help the policemen in the
investigation, and find the evidence to accuse the Mr. Kwong in the judiciary court, thank
God for that the policemen sent us two letter till now about that the investigation is in
the progressing,

about that they cheated my mother, and they can have pity on my mother , and return the

peace to face the punishment from God one day.

year, please pray for that we can have the abilities to do the job, and preach the gospel
to our supervisors or colleagues, thank God for that she always help me, I am love at her,
but I do not know is God arrange this marriage for us or not, please pray for that God can
help us to firmly believe that God arrange this marriage for us, then we will develop our
relationship, please pray for that God can help us firmly believe that this was the
marriage relationship in the plan of God, please pray for that God can help us to
love at each other if it was the will of God, and we will not be suffered in the marital
problems, please pray for that God can lead me to the Christian who was arranged by God,
so that I can correctly chose the Christian God arranged for me, and I will not regret
about the decision I made in this marriage.

I
have been asked by a couple of our group for an update on Bernard and Peter. I am sorry if
you feel I have neglected you on this issue, especially after how you all rallied round me
and my family way back in June and prayed along side us for them. It is remiss of me,
sorry.
The
truth of the matter is, that they are doing so well, that I tend to just take it for
granted that you all know that, but of course you don't and I should be letting you know.
They
are both back at their respective employment's now. Peter has been for two months or more.
Bernard has just returned to his employment this week (officially), unofficially he has
been going in for a few hours here and there for a couple of months.… Bernard does
still have a little problem with the hospital trying to get the levels of his medication
correct but these are not things that they are worried about and he is so fit and well in
himself (simply a miracle) so much energy. Peter is back to full health again now and says
himself that he has forgotten all about it now. I will never forget what he did for his
brother, and I don't think he will really?

Good morning
to you all.
I have had a couple of people ask me in the last couple of days, how Bernard and Peter are
now doing, so I thought I would let you all know the situation as it is so far.
It is now 6 weeks since they had their operation, can you believe that, I find it
difficult some times to realise just how much time has gone by since that horrendous day,
when you were all praying for them. As I look back on it now I cannot comprehend
what it was like.
Now, down to how they are. Peter is virtually back to his full health again. He is doing
all the things he did before the surgery. This week he was even back in the gym, albeit,
not overdoing it to start with. He has been agitating to go back to work this week, but, I
am glad to say, the doctor would not let him. He says he must have the full 10 weeks off
from the date of the surgery. He is feeling so well himself, and I put the fact down to
the power of prayer and what you all did for us as a family at that time.
Bernard, is also doing very well. Although he still has to go to the hospital 3 times a
week (they are talking about twice after next week), mainly to have blood and chemistry
levels checked against his medication. In himself he has never been so well. He cannot
remember anytime in his life when he has been as well as he feels just now. Bernard will
not be back in full time employment much before Christmas, but then, we have to remember
that he was very ill 6 weeks ago. The difference between then and now is nothing short of
a miracle.
They still need your prayers, particularly Bernard, but we have light at the end of the
tunnel and it is all thanks to prayer and to all you good friends that I have, and many
others, who are friends of yours and I know you had involved others in our prayer. I can
never say thank you enough times but I can try.

came over and "bushhogged" about an acre which had become overgrown while her
garden tractor was down.
