We could hardly debate that
the man, on whose eyes Jesus put mud made from spittle,
received a blessing from God. If we are not careful,
however, we may make a rule or ritual from this story. This
would be especially true if there had been no other miracles
or blessings recorded in the New Testament.
How wonderful it would be to encounter Jesus and have him
bless us with a healing! Well, if you have accepted Jesus,
you have encountered him. His Kingdom has come to you--The
Kingdom of The Blessing! Jesus told the Disciples to say,
"Thy kingdom come Thy will be done on earth as it is in
heaven." Heaven contains only blessing, hence it is The
Kingdom of The Blessing there and it is God's will that the
very same blessing be here now in this place with us!
It was God, after all, who blessed everything he created as
Moses recorded in the Book of Genesis. So receive Jesus as
King of Kings and you are in the Kingdom of the Blessing.
Receive the blessing!
Remember...
We need to always focus on Christ!
The blessings of
our Lord on you and all that is yours by blood, adoption or assignment!
