"Trust God--Fear Not"
By

Psalm 56
(NIV)
Psalm 56
(KJV)
Psalm 56
(AMP)
The occurrence of the
Christmas Season and New Year's causes many to evaluate
where they are physically, emotionally, and financially.
Many people are focusing on the economy and are afraid for
the future, but let us, as Believers in Jesus the Christ,
remember that many times in the Bible we are told to not be
afraid. Often this instruction comes at a time of
transition. An Angel told Mary to not fear just before he
told her of the Heavenly Father's plans for her.
Luke
1:26-38 (NIV)
An Angel also encouraged Joseph to not fear and to go ahead
and take Mary as his wife. Matthew 1:18-24 (NIV)
Let us remember what Psalm 56 tells us David did when fear
attacked him.
3
When I am afraid, I will trust in you.
4
In God, whose
word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What
can mortal man do to me? Psalm 56:3-4 (NIV)
10
In God, whose word I praise, in the LORD, whose word I
praise-
11
in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can
man do to me?
12
...I will present my thank offerings to
you.
13
For you have delivered me from death and my feet
from stumbling, that I may walk before God in the light of
life. Psalm 56:10-13 (NIV)
Let us keep this in mind as we prepare to transition into a
new year and as we transition into each new thing the Lord
sets before us to do.
Remember...
We need to always focus on Christ!
The blessing of
our Lord on you and all that is yours by blood, adoption or assignment!
